I live in Alaska with my husband and two of my three kids–the oldest now lives in Texas. I love to decorate, craft, cook, organize, and I photograph it all. Photography is my one passion outside of my family and faith. My husband bought me my first DSLR when we moved to Alaska in 2005 and it sat nearly untouched, out of fear, for two years. When I say ‘nearly untouched’ I mean I only charged the battery once in two years. In November 2007, I decided to join flickr and learn how to use my Canon EoS xt. I started shooting manual in 2008 and discovered there was a whole world to explore through this lens and have never looked back. This year I bought a new camera the Canon 50D and that coupled with my favorite lens, 50mm 1.4, we tackle the world.
I am always willing to answer any questions you might have. I learned and continue to learn from people willing to answer my questions, no matter how trivial they may seem. I would love to pass that on.
